Kid’s Bowl Free & Kid’s Skate Free all Summer Long!

KIDS BOWL FREE

If you are searching for ways to keep the kiddos busy this summer, I have the answer! Take them bowling and roller-skating for FREE!

One of my boy’s favorite things to do during the summer is bowling, and the Kids Bowl Free Program let’s us do it for Free! Bowling is a fun way to stay nice and cool in the air conditioning, but you are keeping those bodies active!

This offer is valid at select bowling centers, and age requirements and times will vary by locations. Shoe rental price is not included in offer, but it is usually just a few dollars per child.

You can also sign up for a Parent Pass which will give you a nice savings for yourself so that you can enjoy bowling with the kiddos too! You should see this option right after you have signed up the kiddos.

KIDS SKATE FREE

If your kiddos love to roller skate, Kids Skate Free will keep them busy this summer!

Here’s how it works:

  • Select a rink and sign up.
  • Access your Free passes. They will show up in the MyHownd app almost immediately after signing up.
  • You will receive 2 Kids Skate Free passes per child, per week.
  • Kids Skate Free passes are only valid for one week.
  • Passes will automatically expire and be replaced with two new valid passes every Monday.
  • Please note that rinks have age limits and passes will only be generated for eligible children.

FREE & Frugal Summer Activities for Kids!

Are your kiddos driving you crazy yet? :D If you want to keep them busy this Summer, here is a list of FREE & Frugal Summer Activites! I especially love the Reading Programs as it encourages children to have a love of Books!

Kids Bowl Free– Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Registered kids receive 2 free games of bowling each day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations. Kids Skate Free- Select states are offering a FREE Kids Skate program. This is much like the Kids Bowl Free program but at your local roller skating center. This offer is only valid in select states. You can check out all the info at: www.kidsskatefree.com.

Regal Cinemas $1 Movies– Select Regal Cinemas nationwide will be offering $1 movies every Tuesday & Wednesday at 10am for 9 weeks. You can check out all the info for this at: www.regmovies.com/Movies/Summer-Movie-Express

Muvico Theaters FREE Summer Film Fest Muvico Theaters will be offering a FREE Movie every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 10am. You can also get a Kid’s Tray which features a small drink & popcorn for just $3.75. Cobb Movie Theaters– kids can attend FREE movies at 10am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You can find Cobb Movie Theater locations HERE. Then, click on the box to the left of the page that says, Free Summer Kids Shows.

TD Banks Summer Reading Program– Kids in grades K-5 who read 10 books will receive $10 in their Young Saver account. You can see all the details at:http://www.tdbank.com/summerreading/

Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge– Kids can read and go online to log teir minutes. They will be able to take weekly challenges and earn rewards. See all the details at: http://www.scholastic.com/ups/campaigns/src-2015 Program begins May 4, 2015.

Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program– If your children reads 8 books and tracks them on the Barnes & Noble reading log, they can turn in their reading log for a FREE book. The Disney Store- Check your local Disney Store to see if they are offering Summer Activities. My hubby snapped this photo at our local Disney Store in Clearwater, FL. last year. As you can see, they offer activities for the kiddos every day during the Summer. Contact your local store to see if they are participating.

Pottery Barn Kids Summer Reading Challenge Families can join in on Story Time at your local Pottery Barn Store. Kids will receive a reward for reading all the books on their list. In addition they will be offering healthy snacks from Happy Family, special character appearances and giveaways from PBS Kids. You can check out all the details at: http://www.potterybarnkids.com/customer-service/store-events.html

Library Story Time- Why not check out your local library for story time and other fun activities that are available? When Drew was much younger, I would take him every week for story time. He loved it, and it was such a nice time for me to meet other moms as well!

Your local Pool or YMCACheck your local YMCA to see if they offer inexpensive swimming lessons or activities for children. I will be taking Drew to our local Pool for level 3 swimming lessons. They are reasonably priced around $40 for the entire week.

Craft & Home Improvement Stores offer Hands on CraftsPlaces like the LEGO Store, Michael’s Crafts, Lowes, and Home Depot usually offer some type of FREE or very inexpensive workshop each week or month. Your child will be able to make a craft and take it home!
