Home Depot: Free Kid’s Workshop on May 5! (Build a Windmill Planter)

On Saturday, May 5, from 9am-12 Noon, Home Depot will once again be offering a Free kid’s workshop! For this month’s project, they will be making a windmill planter. My boys love these workshops and really is a lot of fun!

Discuss the benefits of non-polluting sustainable energy in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a model windmill that holds a beautiful seasonal flower or low maintenance herb just in time for Mother’s Day. Once your windmill planter is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Did you know that tomorrow, April 28 is National Superhero Day? This would be a great time to celebrate and have a SUPER party with your family or friends!
