 I had not posted my Publix trips in a couple of weeks, so I thought that you would enjoy seeing what I got from this week’s sale! There wasn’t a lot on sale that I really needed this week, so I just stocked the freezer up with some TGIF Skilllet meals, got a few things we really needed, and then I ended up with 6 HUGE bags of candy for the holidays! Overall, I did well, and my freezer is crammed! 😉 I saved almost $130 and only spent $23! Here is what I got in 2 trips:

2 ½ lbs. of bananas –no coupons = $1.50

2 bulbs of fresh garlic-no coupons = .56 I love to cook with fresh garlic! 😉

½ lb of yellow onions-no coupons = .40

8 assorted TGIF Skillet meals @$7.99 each = $64 -had rain check for BOGO =$32 minus 8 $2/1 Publix coupons stacked with 8 $2/1 manuf. blinkie machine coupons = FREE! Yes, I said FREE! While we don’t eat this all the time, they are very delicious and nice to have on hand for a quick meal! I was excited about this deal too! 😉

Cover Girl Exact Mascara on sale 40% off @ $3.95 minus $1/1 manuf. coupon stacked with $2/1 Publix coupon = .95!

3 boxes of Sun Crystals @ $1.99 each minus 3 $2/1 manuf. coupons = FREE!

1package of Sorrento Cheddar Cheese sticks @ $3.99 each minus $2/1 manuf. peelie stacked with $1/1 Publix coupon from the Yellow Advantage flier = .99!

2 boxes of Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix BOGO @ $2.59 each minus $1/2 manuf. coupon = $1.59 for both boxes!

2 canisters of Quaker Quick Cook oats BOGO @ $2.75 each minus $1.25/2 manuf. coupon = $1.50 for both!

6 bags of assorted Hershey’s candies BOGO @ $5.49 each minus 2 B2G1 tear pad coupons minus 4 $1/1 Hershey’s kiss coupons = $1.49 for 6 BIG BAGS!!! This alone was worth the whole trip! Awesome deal! 😉 Let me explain this one a little more in detail-the candy was already BOGO, but I had B2G1 coupons found at Publix. Out of the 6 bags of candy, 3 were part of the BOGO promotion, 2 more came off with the B2G1 coupons, then, I could use 4 $1 Hershey’s kisses coupons! So, $1.49 for all that candy! I am saving most of it for baking cookies during the holidays!

2 bags of Quakes BOGO @ $1.79 each-no coupons, but Drew and I love to snack on these! = $1.79 for 2 bags

1 packet of Chocolate Banana smoothie mix @ .99 each-no coupons-we love to make our own smoothies and this mix is so good! = .99

-Here is $1/1 Wheat Thins coupon good for ANY Wheat Thins! The smaller boxes are on sale this week at CVS for $1 each so that makes them FREE! Drew and I love these for a snack, so I picked up my 2 FREE boxes!

-Here is $0.75/1 Little Debbie Cupcakes Family Pack coupon. I am not sure on the price of these, but most LD snacks are usually inexpensive, so this coupon could mean a great deal for you!

-Go here for a printable $1/2 coupon for Suave Professionals Shampoo and Conditioner. These are often on sale for around $1 each at most stores, so with the coupon it would be around .50 a bottle! I love to keep things like this in my stockpile to give away to people in need! 😉

-If you have not already done so, Sign up for Nestlé Family and you will receive awesome coupons to print right at home! This month they are offering printable coupons for: Juicy Juice, Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough, Boost Kid’s Essentials, Stouffers, Ovaltine, Nestle candies, and Toll House Chocolate Chips!

This coupon is also good in the outlet store online! You would just need to pay shipping. I took advantage of a deal like this last year and got boots for this season for $5!!!! They were normally $75!!!

Kmart has decided to once again run a double coupon promotion starting Sunday, September 27-Saturday, October 3. When they ran this promotion last time, it was only in certain areas. I would suggest calling 1-800-KMART-4U or emailing them at help@customerservice.kmart.com to verify whether or not your local store is participating. I am hoping that many of you will get to take advantage of this opportunity so you can save some money on things you use every day! 😉
