The Home Depot is Offering Free Kids Workshop Kits!

You may have heard that The Home Depot has cancelled their Kid’s Workshops due to the current pandemic. They recently announced that in place of these workshops, many stores will be handing out Workshop Kits for FREE! You can GO HERE to find a Home Depot location near you, or I would suggest that you give them a call to see if they are participating.

While many of us are enjoying cooler temps and summer seems far away, it will be here before you know it! In fact, I am already looking at summer camps that my boys are interested in as they tend to fill up quickly. My son Brady who is 8, really wants to attend a soccer camp this summer, so I was thrilled to see that Challenger International Soccer Camps is coming to our area!

The Home Depot: Free Kid’s Workshop on July 7th (Build a Fishing Game)

On Saturday, July 7, from 9am-12 Noon, the Home Depot will once again be offering a Free kid’s workshop! For this month’s project, they will be making a Fishing Game

Reel in the summer fun in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a fishing game while tackling educational and developmental skills. Once your fishing game is built, you and your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. Recommended Ages: 5-12. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

On Saturday, May 5, from 9am-12 Noon, Home Depot will once again be offering a Free kid’s workshop! For this month’s project, they will be making a windmill planter. My boys love these workshops and really is a lot of fun!

Discuss the benefits of non-polluting sustainable energy in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a model windmill that holds a beautiful seasonal flower or low maintenance herb just in time for Mother’s Day. Once your windmill planter is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. Need to keep the kiddos busy this Summer? Kids Bowl Free is once again offering their Kids Bowl Free Summer Program! I just signed my boys up as they look forward to this every year! We go at least once a week!

This offer is valid at select bowling centers, and age requirements and times will vary by locations. Shoe rental price is not included in offer, but it is usually just a few dollars per child.

You can also sign up for a Parent Pass which will give you a nice savings for yourself so that you can enjoy bowling with the kiddos too! You should see this option after you have signed up the kiddos.

If you need something to do with the kiddos this weekend this sounds like fun! JCPenneyy is now offering a Kid’s Club! This Saturday March 10, from 11am-Noon kids can decorate an Easter egg.
