Review of Christmas Forest Alpine Christmas Wreath + Giveaway!

One of the things that I love most about the holiday season is the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree. The smell of evergreen lingers in the air and it cannot help to put a smile on my face! While I may not always be able to have a fresh cut Christmas tree here in Florida, I can have the smell of Christmas thanks to the beautiful wreaths from Christmas Forest!

I was given the amazing opportunity to feature Christmas Forest in my Holiday Gift Guide this year and they were so generous to send a wreath to review. Christmas Forest sent me their Alpine Wreath and it is absolutely stunning! The pictures do not do it justice. In addition, the smell of Christmas is now in the air throughout my house! It definitely puts me in the Christmas spirit! The front of the box that the wreath was shipped in was too cute and has the fun message pictured below. My 6 year old really thought that the wreath came from Santa and his elves! How cute is this?

 

The Alpine Christmas Wreath looks a lot like the signature Cascade Wreath, but the elves added red berries for an extra Christmas color. Enjoy the aroma of the alpine fresh Christmas wreath from the forests of the Pacific Northwest. I scored 2 beautiful sweaters that I can’t wait to wear!

1. Shop Early -Not only does this reduce unwanted stress in your life, but it also allows you to spend more time with your family and friends this holiday season which is the most important priority. Shopping early also keeps you away from those crazy crowds! 

2. Use the Westfield Shopping App and Westfield Holiday Gift Guide– Westfield Malls US has their own app which has proven to very helpful for my family and I. This app is like a shopping assistant with innovative features and time-saving benefits. It also features exclusive deals and events. 3. Use money saving coupons and offers from your favorite stores– Be sure to sign up for coupons and apps to the stores you frequent the most. Using coupons really is a great way to get the most bang for your buck and to stretch those hard-earned dollars. 

4. Take advantage of the Family Parking and Family Lounges at Westfield Malls. I love that Westfield Malls really cares about the family. From the Family Parking Spots to the Family Lounges, I feel like shopping at Westfield Malls really is a great family experience! If you have little ones, no worries, Westfield Malls has you covered! They even have special nursing rooms in the Family Lounge so that Moms can nurse their little ones in privacy. 

5. Enjoy extra special family fun at Westfield Malls with Merry Makers! The Merry Makers will be bringing moments of holiday cheer to shoppers November 20-27.

I was sent an awesome package of Cranberry goodies from the Cranberry Marketing Committee that contained Fresh Cranberries, Dried Cranberries, Cranberry Sauce, Cranberry juice and other items. I made a few yummy Cranberry recipes that you too can prepare this Holiday season. These recipes are sure to be a hit with everyone!

 

Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Cider 

INGREDIENTS:

2 Pounds of your Favorite Apples sliced into rings. (I used Gala apples since that is what I had on hand)

1 Navel Orange Cut up into Segments

1 Cup of Whole Fresh Cranberries

7 Cups of Water

5-6 Whole Cinnamon Sticks

DIRECTIONS:

Place the Apples, Orange Segments, Cranberries and Water in the Slow Cooker. Mix together and Cook on low for 6-8 hours. 

Take all of the ingredients and mash together. (The smell will be amazing!)

Place the Mashed Cranberry/Apple mixture through a strainer. You may have to do this several times until the liquid is free of the mixture. 

Pour the Cranberry Apple Cider Liquid into mugs and enjoy Hot or Cold! This is so delicious and a great take on the traditional Apple Cider! 

Gluten Free Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 Cup Fresh Cranberries

1 1/2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/2 Cup Real Unsalted Butter Softened

1 1/2 Cups Old Fashioned Gluten Free Oats

1 Cup Gluten Free Flour (I used Bob’s Red Mill)

2 Large Eggs

1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Sugar

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together the Gluten Free Flour, Baking Soda and Salt in a large bowl and set aside. 

In another bowl (I used my KitchenAid Mixer) cream together the butter, eggs and sugars. Add in the vanilla and cinnamon. 

Add in the Flour mixture a little at a time until blended.

Slowly add in the Gluten Free Oats, Cranberries and Chocolate Chips. 

Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto a prepared Cookie sheet.

Bake in the 350 Preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. You need to keep checking as they may even need to go a bit longer. 

Cook until Golden Brown and Enjoy!
