Can you believe how quickly February is going already? This is a short month, but there is still time to take advantage of some great deals and offers. Here are some of the Best Things that you will want to buy this month, so be on the lookout for deals and offers!

Jewelry and Candy– Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so many stores will be offering fantastic deals on both jewelry and candy. Stores like Zales and JCPenney are offering diamond heart pendants for only $29.99 + Free Shipping! Be on the lookout at the drug stores for stock up deals on chocolate and other Valentine’s Day candy. If you have coupons to stack with the sales, you will really get a sweet deal! And, don’t forget those after Valentine’s Day sales. You will be able to take advantage of sales as much as 75% off! I always like to think outside of the box with holiday sales as there are many products that can actually be used all year round.

Electronics– With Black Friday and the holidays behind us, many retailers like Best Buy will be clearing their inventory of items like televisions, digital cameras, computer monitors and more. Did you know that many electronics stores also have an open box section in the store? This is a place where customers have made returns on an item that perhaps they ended up not liking and then returning it to the store. These items are offered at a huge discount so be sure to check it out as you can score some great deals!

Winter Clothing and Shoes– Many stores are starting to clear out their winter inventory to make way for the spring items. I have found some great deals lately on winter clothing at stores like Target and Kohl’s. Pair these sales with a coupon or promotional code and you can get some really sweet deals! If your budget allows, it is always a great idea to stock up the kiddos on clothing for next winter with these discounted prices and deals. Kids seem to grow like weeds, so be a smart and savvy shopper and buy ahead if possible.

Canned Goods– Did you know that February is National Canned Food Month? Many grocery stores will be offering promotional offers on things like soups, canned vegetables and more. When you pair a coupon with these offers you can really save big. This is a great time to add a few extra items to your stockpile. I love to keep canned soups and veggies on hand for quick and easy casseroles.

Mattresses– February is a fantastic month to go mattress shopping! With President’s Day later in the month, many stores will have huge promotional offers.  If you need to replace your mattresses now is the time to do so. I have seen many stores with discounts up to 50% off!

Tax Software– With tax day looming before us, this is a great time to update your software. Sales tend to be the lowest price all year during February so if you need new software now is the time to buy. Filing those taxes early can help you to avoid long lines and hopefully score your refund sooner.

Video Games– New video games are typically released in early winter, so by the time February rolls around, we can see some great sales and offers. Check places like GameStop, Target and Walmart for deep discounts.

In Season Produce– February is American Heart Month, so we can find expect to find some really great deals at the grocery store on in-season produce. Brussels Sprouts, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Parsnip, Carrots, Turnips, Winter Squash, Leeks, Beets, Winter Greens, Cabbage, Pears, Grapefruit and Oranges all seem to be great buys right now. I found a huge 5 pound bag of Clementines at Sam’s Club for just over $5 last week. That is a great deal! In addition, Florida Strawberries are in season right now. If you live in an area that sells Florida Strawberries you can score a super deal! Stores like Aldi have been offering them for $1.29 a pint!
