Have you been wanting to give Stitch Fix a try? I have some exciting news! Right now when you sign up through the link HERE you will get $50 to spend at Stitch Fix! Typically you only receive $25 to sign up, so this is such a great offer! There really is nothing to lose with this awesome offer!

What is Stitch Fix?

Stitch Fix is a personalized shopping service that provides you with clothing and accessories all without leaving your house. You fill out an online profile with your detailed information. You are then provided with a stylist who will handpick 5 clothing/accessory items for you based on your profile. This will include budget, style, etc…. I love how each fix includes a detailed paper with your items and ways that you can style them. This really takes the guess work out of styling if you are not sure now to wear the items. Stitch Fix is for Women (including Maternity), Men and now Kids!

How Much is Stitch Fix?

The initial Styling Fee for Stitch Fix is $20. BUT, this $20 fee can be applied as a credit towards any items that you decide to keep in your shipment. If you decide to keep nothing, then you will lose the $20. The overall amount that you spend will depend on the items in your fix. The prices can vary on items as you can set a budget when you take your Style Profile. IF you decide to keep all 5 items in your shipment, you will save 25% off your entire order! I always set my budget to a low amount and the pieces that I have gotten have been amazing!

Pros & Cons of Stitch Fix:

I think that Stitch Fix would be a great idea for a busy working professional or mom that doesn’t have time to shop for herself. I also love that you can customize when you want to receive your fix. You don’t have to receive each month, but rather you can delay shipments if you choose to do so.

Stitch Fix currently carries women’s, men’s and kids sizes so there is something for every member of your family!

You have 3 days to return the items that you don’t want. You are sent a Pre paid mailer with your order so that you can just drop your items into the mail. Easy peasy!

One of the most important things to remember with Stitch Fix is to really show your stylist your personality and style. Filling out that Style Profie is crucial! One of my friends told me to share my Fashion Pinterest boards with my styist as that can help! Tell your stylist what you like, don’t like. I need to be even more detailed on my Style Profile for this next shipment!

I am super excited to include Stitch Fix in my Holiday Gift Guide this year! I have heard so many wonderful things about this new way to shop so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try it for myself. There are definitely some pros and cons to Stitch Fix so you will want to be sure that you understand the entire process before you decide if the service is right for you. If you are not into the entire fashion thing, why not give a Stitch Fix gift card? I like to think that Subscription boxes are one of those gifts that keeps on giving and this would be the perfect gift idea for fashion lovers!

My First Stitch Fix Box:

I have to be completely honest with you. I was not too excited with the items that I received in my first Stitch Fix box. Out of the 5 items I only kept one thing. Everyone tells me that your stylist has to get to know you so I am hoping that the next box will be better! I LOVE this service though and am excited for my next box! I can see why people are drawn to the #FixObsession!

I received the following items:

Abrianna Long Sleeve Knit Purple Cardigan– Verdict – LOVED and kept!

Montgomery Cross Front Neck Top– Verdict- Didnt’ Love. Sent Back. The shirt was too clingy and it took me forever to try and get the top on since it was a cross front top. It was weird how you had to put it on.

Tameron Button Down Blouse– Verdict- Didn’t Love. Sent Back. This shirt was just okay to me. I loved the green shade for Winter but it didn’t really do much for me overall.

Berneen Printed Dolman Sleeve Top– Verdict- Didn’t Love. Sent Back. I did not like the material of this shirt and how it fell on my body. I just did not feel very flattering in it. Verdict- Sent Back.

Sandy Bootcut Jean– Verdict- Didn’t Love. Sent Back. (these are in the pictures above) I do not like ligher colored jeans as I am fuller in the hip area and lighter colord denim tends to accentuate that area. I also did not care for the fit of these jeans as they were more fitted in the legs than I prefer.
