Tomorrow, May 11 is a GREAT way for everyone to give back and pay it forward to those in need with Stamp Out Hunger. We couponers can especially help out with this cause as many of us have a nice stockpile of items!
Stamp Out Hunger is a nationwide food drive that provides food to local food banks and pantries to help those in need.

I just wanted to let you know that today is Stamp Out Hunger. I always look forward to this each year as it allows us to give back to those in need.
The National Association of Letter Carriers is collecting food for Feeding America. You should have received a plastic bag in your mailbox earlier in the week to fill with non-perishable foods.

I know that I haven’t posted much today, but I did want to make sure that I got this up. Tomorrow, May 14, we all have an opportunity to help a wonderful cause-Stamp Out Hunger. Stamp Out Hunger helps millions of Americans fighting hunger right in our own back yards.
How can we help? If you are like me, I am sure that you have quite a stockpile of food. All you need to do to help this great cause is to get a bag (we actually received one in our mailbox yesterday) and place non-perishable items inside of it. Place the items at your mailbox and your mailman will deliver them to a local food pantry!
What a great and easy way for us all to give back! I have my bag of goodies all together so Drew and I can take them to the mailbox in the morning!
Don’t forget that this is today! I have my bag of grocries ready to give!
If you are an avid couponer like me, you are probably blessed with a large stockpile! I feel that couponing not only saves my family and I alot of money, but it also allows me to give to those in need.
I am so excited to take part in the Stamp Out Hunger event this Saturday, May 8. According to the USDA, over 49 milliion Americans are at risk of going hungry. I don’t know about you, but my family and I have never gone hungry, and I can’t even begin to imagine what that must be like.
Since 1983, families have donated almost 1 billion pounds of food to Stamp Out Hunger! I am excited to help this year and to make this one of the most successful food drives ever!
Here is how we can help ::
Simply place bags of non-perishable foods such as canned meats, fishes, soups, rices, pastas, cereals, vegetables, and juices next to your mailbox on Saturday, May 8. Your mail carrier will pick up these items and deliver them to local food banks.
I am thrilled to give some of what I have stockpiled to those in need! This will also be a wonderful learing experience for my 4 year old to learn that it is more blessed to give than receive!
