or dinner. Here is a frugal and easy recipe made with ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry and fridge and it won’t break the bank!
Today’s recipe is for: The World’s Easiest Chicken Pot Pie. This is a recipe that was passed down to me from my mom. It is so good that my son Drew begs me to make it all the time! I also take this dish to pot lucks or when friends need a dinner and it always gets rave reviews!
The World’s Easiest Chicken Pot Pie
1 2-count package of frozen pie crusts
2 cans of your choice of veggies
1 can of cream of chicken
2-3 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the canned veggies and Cream of chicken soup together.
Stir in the cooked, shredded chicken breast.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Place the chicken veggie mixture in the first pie crust.
Top the remaining pie crust over the chicken veggie mixture and crimp the edges. I also like to place a slit in the middle of the pie so that the steam can escape while the
pie is cooking.
Place in 350 degree preheated oven and bake until golden brown.
