With the recent devastation that Hurricane Irma left behind in her tracks, I know that so many people especially in the state of Florida were affected. Many of us (my family included) are still without power, have homes that are damaged, hundreds of dollars of food in our refrigerators and freezers is ruined and the list goes on and on.

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for many counties in the state of Florida. What does this mean for you? You may be entitled to 90 days of Mortgage Forbearance. This is regardless of whether or not your home was d
amaged. My husband was on the phone with our mortgage provider this morning and within 10 minutes they delayed our next mortgage payment until the end of the year! In addition, you may be entitled to credit card and other benefits. Regardless of where you live in the state of Florida, call your mortgage provider to see what benefits may be available to you.
