As a busy mom, I often find myself wondering what it would be like to have a chef prepare my meals for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love to cook and bake and you will often find me in the kitchen doing so. However, during these crazy busy Summer months, I am always on the lookout for quick, easy and healthy meals.
I recently found out about a gourmet meal delivery service called Top Chef Meals. This meal delivery service is unlike any of the other ones out there as the meals are already prepared and cooked to order by over 45 chefs and flash frozen for delivery. When the meals arrive to your doorstep all you have to do is cook them and voila you have a healthy and delicious dinner! I not only love that Top Chef Meals offers a huge menu selection (including breakfast lunch, dinner and desserts), but they also offer options for those who are diabetic, gluten free, paleo, low-carb, dairy free and low sodium. I actually chose all gluten free meals and my entire family loved them!
My family and I were very impressed with how delicious and fresh that each meal was. First of all, the meals arrived with dry ice so they were still very cold when I opened the box. Each meal is an individual serving and is arranged when it arrives to make unpacking them a breeze! A few of our favorites so far have been Chicken Parmesan in House Made Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese,American Meatloaf with Glazed Ketchup Crust and Beef Gravy, Shrimp Scampi, Seared Salmon with Brown Butter Sauce and my personal favorite the Shrimp and Grits. Yum! I also love that Top Chef Meals gives you the opportunity to chose which veggies that you would like with your meal. The Sweet Potatoes were to die for! Oh, and let’s not forget dessert! Top Chef Meals offers killer dessert options! I tried the gluten free raspberry cheesecake and it was out of this world!

It is no secret that I love to cook. You can often find me in the kitchen cooking, baking and inventing new recipes. There is something so exhilirating to me about making dishes from scratch with wholesome ingredients. However, during these crazy summer months, it seems that those days can be few and far between. I barely have enough time to go to the grocery store let alone cook and bake. While I love to grocery shop, it is nice to know that if we can’t make a trip to the store, we have other options that will help us get a delicious dinner on the table in minutes.

The first Home Chef meal that I prepared was Chicken and Roasted Beet Salad with goat cheese and pistachios. I have never roasted beets before so I was a bit uncertain of how that would go. It was so easy! I love that Home Chef gives us the chance to try items that we typically would not pick up at the grocery store. Step-by-step instructions for the recipe make it so easy to prepare.
My second dish was a family favorite! Healthy Takeout Mongolian Beef with chinese broccoli was devoured by my guys in minutes! Once again, I was able to use an ingredient (Chinese Broccoli) that I never would have picked up at the grocery store on my own. This dish was so easy to prepare and the flavors were out of this world. This was much better than any takeout I would get at my favorite restaurant, not to mention I know exactly what ingredients are in the dish.
If you have been thinking about trying a home meal delivery service, I highly recommend Home Chef. Not only do I love the wholesome ingredients and ease of preparation with each dish, but as I previously mentioned they also offer Gluten Free offerings which is huge in my book! In fact, each of the meals that I chose were gluten free, but my entire family ate both dishes and did not even know it! That is how delicious the food is!
