I am a HUGE fan of Iced Coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts so when I found out that Dunkin’ Donuts was testing out a New Cold Brew, I couldn’t be more excited to try it for myself! The Cold Brew is an ultra-smooth, full-bodied craft-brewed daily in small batches. It is actually naturally sweet in flavor so you can enjoy it black, but for those like me who tend to customize their coffee based on preference, you may do that as well! Dunkin’ Donuts’ Cold Brew coffee is available in small (16 oz,) medium (24 oz) and large (32 oz) cup sizes.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ Cold Brew coffee is prepared by steeping a special blend of coffee in cold water over an extended period of time to extract a uniquely distinctive flavor from the beans. The longer brewing process provides a rich, smooth coffee with an inherently sweeter flavor reminiscent of dark chocolate. Cold Brew offers another exciting choice for those who prefer their coffee cold, along with the brand’s signature iced coffee.
What was my impression of the Cold Brew? I have to tell you that I LOVE it! It is very smooth and much richer tasting than the traditional iced coffee. It does have an almost chocolately flavor to the coffee which is very unique. The steeping process really gives it an extra special flavor that is very nice and spicy. I also love that we can still customize the Cold Brew if we prefer to make it our own.
