If you just read the previous article regarding my price matching trip to Wal-Mart, you will know that I spent $7 of my weekly grocey money on All Detergent. I went ahead and used all the coupons that I had for the deal because I knew that 6 bottles of detergent will last for quite awhile. Also, I am way under budget this week, and that is something that we can use. I still had $28 left in grocery cash left for the week, so after the big detergent purchase, that left me with $21.
After I left Wal-Mart, I decided to run into Albertson’s for some FREE toliet paper and a few other things. I got 2 packs of Mission Tortillas BOGO @ $2.99 minus 2 .75/1 coupons from the 1/10 SS insert = $1.49 for 2 packs of tortillas (we love these for quesadillas!), 7 packages of FREE Marcal toilet paper (it is on sale for .88 this week and there were FREE coupons in the 1/3/10 SS insert), 2 FREE packages of Marcal paper towels (same FREE coupon is good for paper towels as well), 1 box of FREE Marcal tissues (same FREE coupon as the previous 2 Marcal items), 2 boxes of Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta on sale for .88 each minus 2 .75/1 coupons from the 1/10 SS insert = .26 for 2 boxes of pasta, and 1 package of Aqua pods water at .88. My total for all this was $4.80!
I am happy to say that after all those packages of toilet paper, napkins, 7 bottles of All laundry detergent, and the other things that I bought, I still have around $15 in cash grocery money left for the week! 🙂
