Yesterday I had to run a few errands, and I had some RR’s from Walgreens that are expiring this week, so I decided to stop in and snag a few deals. I could have rolled my RR’s, but there were a few things that I wanted to buy which did not generate a RR–in the end, I only paid $2.27 OOP for all that you see pictured!

–4 bottles of Purex Lillies & Linen Laundry Detergent BOGO @ $5.99 each 

used 2 BOGO coupons from the 2/21 RP   

= 4 bottles f

–2 tins of Altoids @ .59 each 

no coupons, but this is a great price for Altoids!

= $1.19 for 2 tins!

–5 Starbucks bottled Frappucino drinks @ $1.25 each with in-ad coupon

+ 5 $1/1 IP coupons from HERE

= $1.25 for 5 Starbucks drinks (you know I am in coffee heaven!)

–4 cans of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup @ .79 each with in-ad coupon

+ $1/4 IP coupon from HERE

= $2.16 for 4 cans! (I love to have this on hand for casseroles and slow-cooker recipes!)

–2 cans of Lindsay Black Olives @ .99 each with in-ad coupon

+ $1/2 IP coupon from HERE

= .98 for 2 cans of olives!

–1 container of Nesquick @ $3.29

used $1.25/1 IP coupon (link no longer available)

= $2.04 (not the best price, but I wanted to use my RR’s for something that I needed)

–I also used $6 in RR’s to bring my OOP lower. In the end, after all coupons and RR’s I paid $2.27 OOP!

Several years back, my hubby and I ate at a California Pizza Kitchen for the first time. I remember glancing at the menu and spotting BBQ Chicken Pizza. It sounded yummy, and boy was I in heaven when I took my first bite! Several weeks later, I decided to try and recreate that heavenly pizza dish. Here is my version of that yummy pizza, and, I must say, it is one of our favorite dinners around here! Pair it with a salad, and you have a great Take-In night at home with the family! Not only is this pizza yummy, but very budget-friendly as well! Enjoy!

HONEY BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA

INGREDIENTS ::

1 Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crust

1 bottle of Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ Sauce

2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded

1 diced red or green pepper

1 diced medium onion

2 cloves minced garlic

1 can of mushrooms (optional)

1 bag of shredded cheese (your favorite or what you have on hand will work–I used Colby Monterrey Jack last night, but Shredded Mozzarella is great as well)

DIRECTIONS ::

–Preheat oven to 425 degrees. While oven is preheating, dice all of your veggies.

–Parbake your pizza crust just until the bottom starts to brown slightly.

–While pizza crust is cooking slightly, sautee all of your veggies and garlic minus the mushrooms (these are optional and you will add them lastly to avoid getting soggy) Add shredded chicken to the veggie mixture and warm through.

–Take pizza crust

out of the oven and let cool slightly. Then, take you

r Honey BBQ Sauce (about half the bottle) and pour on top of the pizza. This will act as your pizza sauce.

–Now, if you are using mushrooms add them to the veggie/chicken mixture and toss thoroughly until mushrooms are incorporated.

–Spread the yummy chicken/veggie mixture on top of the BBQ sauce and pizza crust.

–Place the shredded cheese on top and bake for about 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Just until cheese is melted and crust is browned through all the way.

–Lastly, but certainly not least, Enjoy this yummy pizza! I don’t think that you will be dissappointed!
