Banana Streusel Muffin Recipe

Are you still searching for some recipes for inexpensive baked goods? Baked goods are on the easiest and most inexpensive gifts that you can put in a gift basket to someone that you love! Giving the gift of food is also very comforting to alot of people.

As you will see in the picture, my son loves to help mommy bake! It makes him feel so proud to know that he is doing something like a big person! Have fun with your kids in the kitchen–they grow up way too fast!

If you like Banana Bread, you will love this Banana Streusel Muffin recipe!

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 eggs

1/4 tsp. vanilla

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup melted butter

1/4 cup sugar

2 medium ripe mashed bananas

Streusel Topping:

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter

-Preheat oven to 375 degrees

-In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. In a small bowl, beat eggs, sour cream, butter, vanlla, and bananas-stir into dry ingredients just until moistenened. Do not overmix! Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups with batter.

-To make the streusel mix, combine sugar (I added a little brown sugar as well for that caramel taste-yummy!) flour, and cinnamon in small bowl; cut in the butter. Sprinkle over the muffins. Bake for 20-25 minutes! Enjoy! These are so yummy with a cup of coffee!

I hope that you enjoy this recipe!

Target: printable coupon for $5/4 Kellogg’s cereals!

Have you checked out the Target coupons lately? If not, you will want to head OVER HERE to see the new coupons that have been released! It appears that the $5/4 Kelloggs’s Cereal coupon has been reset as well! Yay! Why am I so excited? This is a manufacturer’s coupon so you can use it at any store! It does have the Target logo on it, but since it is a manufacturer’s coupon and not a Target coupon, you shoud be able to use it at your favorite store! I noticed the other day when I was in CVS, that they had an unadvertised special on the smaller boxes of Kellogg’s–they were on sale for $1.25 each! That would make 4 boxes FREE! I just need to make sure that they are at least 10 oz. for the coupon to work!

While you are printing off your Kellogg’s coupon, don’t forget to print off the $1/1  Target coupon for Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate! It is on Temporary Price Cut at Target right now for .97! The coupon will adjust itself down to .97 so you will get it for FREE! Or, if you have a Publix nearby, they have Swiss Miss BOGO this week! You could use 2 $1/1 Target coupons (if your Publix considers Target a competitor–mine does) and get 2 boxes for FREE!
