I just had to tell you all about the Sweet Deal (literally-LOL!) that I scored tonight at Publix! I had gone to workout at the gym and decided that I would stop at a Publix that I do not normally frequent. I am really wanting to locate those new coupon booklets, Multiply Your Meals & Savings. I did not find those booklets, so I thought that I would get some of the Buy Theirs, Get Ours Hot Chocolate. It is so cold here in FL, and Hot Chocolate sounded so good! I know, I know, I just worked out–hey, I burned 500 calories, so I thought that I could treat myself! 🙂
While I was coming around the corner, I spotted them! The Betty Crocker Brownies that are BOGO this week and they had the $1/1 peelies coupons attached to them!!! Can I tell you how excited that I was? Well, I did not want to be greedy, so I grabbed 4 boxes. The shelf was full of them–it was so hard to resist! Anyway, as I was checking out the bagging boy and cashier were asking me, “Why are you only getting 4 boxes of these?” “There is no limit, so you need to go back and get more!” What happened next is probably one of the funniest experiences that I have to date while couponing. The bagging boy grabbed a cart for me and helped me load it with brownie mix! We were all laughing so hard and they could not believe that in the end, I got 14 boxes of brownie mix for only $1.89! The funniest part of the story? I told them that I just came from working out! We were all laughing and everyone around us got caught up in the moment as well! This was definitely a literal *sweet* deal and I could not wait to share my story with you all! Don’t worry, the shelf was still of the brownie mix with peelie coupons when I left Publix tonight! 😉
